It's up to you to provide these things effectively, and that's why good communication skills are so important. This program examines the communications involved in nurse-patient relationships. Examples of bridging communication gaps, communicating with the patient unable to speak, handling cultural differences in communications, and communicating with the emotional patient will be included. The purpose of this program is to provide nurses an understanding of effective communication skills in nurse-patient relationships and how to promote them. |
