During the postpartum period of care, the patient may require a notable amountof physical and psychological care. This course focuses on the physiological, psychological and emotional changes a woman goes through during the postpartum period, and includes information that can assist the nurse in caring for and reassuring her postpartum patients. The course also discusses the importance of emotional support and patient education during the postpartum phase of care. |
