CNE0005 - Tracheostomy Care, Tube Change, and Artificial Airway Cuff Management

A course in the "Continuing Nursing Education Series" Library

This course will focus on essentials of airway care, including cleaning and changing the inner cannula, caring for the stoma, changing the tracheostomy tube and maintaining adequate cuff pressure. Utilizing aseptic techniques and effective handwashing before and after performing care are extremely important aspects of each of these procedures. Observe universal precautions as well.
