This module is designed to present the unique properties of coronary arterial circulation, the pathophysiology of acute coronary syndrome, and an introduction to the ECG changes that most commonly occur in the setting of myocardial ischemia, injury, and infarction. This lays the groundwork for 12-lead ECG analysis and provides a framework for more confident continuous bedside and telemetry cardiac monitoring of patients with coronary artery disease.
