CRT-OC0046 - Management of Postoperative ComplicationsThe purpose of this course is to improve nursing practice by providing a learning opportunity that allows nurses to gain a general understanding of the components involved in providing effective prevention and management of postoperative complications in oncology patients. These components include identifying signs and symptoms of infection, bleeding, clotting, and poor wound healing; identifying factors that contribute to an increase in postoperative complications; and having knowledge of the role of fluid collection tubes and drains in wound healing, preventive measures, and treatment interventions. |
