The purpose of this program is to provide nurses and others in the healthcare environment with an understanding of fire hazards in their workplace. It also provides information on what to do to prevent fires and how to manage the evacuation of patients in case of fire, to assist the patient's continuing care and to provide a higher level of safety in the workplace for visitors and coworkers, and to avoid legal implications. |
