Deficit Reduction Act: False Claims & Employee Protections Courseware
The Medicaid Integrity Program (MIP) was created by
the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 to combat Medicaid
fraud and abuse. The MIP provides significant funding
for a "comprehensive and systematic approach" to
combat Medicaid fraud.
The Deficit Reduction Act mandates communication to staff regarding
provisions of the False Claims Act and whistleblower activities.
This new multimedia course from HCCS addresses these mandates and
provides an easy method to distribute policies and receive electronic
signatures from staff.
